1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription purchases made through GateBeacon, a product of Cezen Technologies. We aim to be fair and transparent about our refund practices. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your GateBeacon subscription at any time by logging into your account and navigating to the Subscription Plans section. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

After cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your account and enrolled devices will remain visible in the portal; however, GateBeacon application publishing and gateway access will be suspended once the paid period expires.

We do not charge any cancellation fee.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Eligible for Refund

• 7-day money-back guarantee: If you subscribed to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge. This applies only to first-time subscriptions.
• Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
• Service unavailability: If GateBeacon is unavailable for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours in a billing cycle due to issues on our side, you may be eligible for a pro-rata credit or refund for that period.

3.2 Not Eligible for Refund

• Renewal charges after the first billing cycle (unless covered by clause 3.1 above).
• Partial months or unused days remaining after cancellation mid-cycle.
• Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
• Downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan mid-cycle.
• Free trial periods (no charge is made during trial).

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

1. Email us at info@gatebeacon.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]".
2. Include your registered email address, the date of the charge, and the reason for your refund request.
3. Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Razorpay, our payment processor, will process the refund to your bank account, credit card, UPI, or wallet depending on your original payment method. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank or card issuer:

• Credit / Debit card: 5–7 business days after processing.
• UPI: Typically within 2–3 business days.
• Net Banking: 3–5 business days.
• Wallets: Usually within 1–2 business days.

If you do not receive your refund within 10 business days of approval, please contact us and we will follow up with Razorpay on your behalf.

6. Plan Changes

If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remaining days. If you downgrade your plan, the change will take effect from the next billing cycle and no refund is issued for the current cycle.

7. Taxes

GateBeacon is not currently registered under GST. The applicable GST rate is 0%. All subscription prices are final and inclusive of any applicable taxes.
